As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the medical education environment and develop the scientific and research capabilities of its students, the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him) signed an academic cooperation agreement with Al-Riyada International Training and Development Company in the holy city of Karbala.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the College of Medicine by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, Dean of the College, and Dr. Farhan Abdullah Mubarak, Chief Operating Officer (COO), represented Al-Riyada International Company. This important step reflects the commitment of both parties to building an effective and sustainable partnership that contributes to serving medical education in accordance with the latest international academic standards.

This agreement aims to provide advanced training opportunities for students of the College of Medicine on campus by organizing specialized workshops in the fields of scientific research, emergency skills and dealing with critical cases, and developing the medical English language. These workshops are supervised by experienced staff, with no financial obligations to the student or the college.

The agreement also stipulates cooperation in the field of Continuing Medical Education (CME) by contributing to the development of training and development programs that keep pace with scientific developments. It also includes involving students in future research projects under the supervision of experts from both sides. This will contribute to enhancing their research proficiency and raising their readiness to contribute to scientific progress at the local and international levels.

The College of Medicine believes that openness to reputable academic and professional institutions constitutes a strategic step toward developing medical education. This agreement lays a solid foundation for fruitful cooperation that primarily serves Iraqi students and enhances the quality of education at our university institutions.
