The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research honors the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), Dr. Na'im Al-Obaidi, presented a "Letter of Appreciation" to Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the university's president, for his efforts in supporting the "Higher Education Reading Award."

The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) welcomes a group of students from the University of Wasit with various specializations on an educational visit to the university. The students toured the university's premises, its colleges, and visited its scientific laboratories to familiarize themselves with the university's scientific facilities.

An inspection tour by the Assistant Scientific President, Professor Dr. Waqid Al-Mousawi, accompanied by the Head of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, Lecturer Dr. Mahdi Mohammed Mahdi, inside the university's premises. They met with several college deans and department heads to follow up on completed tasks, draw up plans, and develop work mechanisms in line with the university's vision.

 "From the holy land of Karbala to the world at large," the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) is preparing to become the first center in Iraqi universities to administer the British IELTS exam in collaboration with the British institution "Unihouse," which is accredited to manage the exam and preparatory programs. This initiative is in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's directives and under the supervision of the Assistant Minister for Research Affairs, emphasizing the importance of adopting the British IELTS exam for postgraduate studies. The University is committed to providing high-quality education and enhancing students' language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English.

Continuation of developmental and training programs for students and graduates of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) Warith Center for Leadership, Innovation, and Development (Warith Elevate) held a training workshop for students of the College of Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Department, titled "What is Biomedical Engineering?" The workshop was presented by Engineer Israa Fadel, who discussed biomedical engineering, its evolution, importance, and its role in the healthcare and industrial sectors. Biomedical engineering serves as the link between engineering and medical sciences by applying engineering principles and techniques in the medical field.

 The University President, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, received a delegation from the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, led by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Al-Alwani. This visit was conducted to discuss the ways and possibilities of scientific cooperation between the College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) and the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad in line with our university's vision and future aspirations to strengthen the educational process and benefit from the academic expertise that the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad possesses to train and prepare our students. It is worth noting that the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) is taking steps to keep up with the robust educational landscape by entering international rankings through partnerships and twinning with prestigious local, Arab, and international universities.

"In conjunction with the declaration of a state of mourning in Iraq," The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) is organizing a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people and condemns the attacks on innocent civilians at the "Al-Mu'adami" hospital. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the free scholarship application for medical specializations. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the launch of the application for the free scholarship for medical specializations in universities and private colleges for the academic year 2024/2023. The application criteria specify that the student must be a graduate of the biological branch in the first or second round within the current academic year, with a minimum application and competitive GPA of 95% for general medicine and not less than 93% for dentistry and pharmacy. The application channel for the free scholarship will appear automatically on the main interface of the students' accounts. Students can register six choices in the form available through the electronic portal of the Private Higher Education Department.

In line with the university's commitment to holding regular meetings with its administrative and teaching staff to understand their needs and resolve their issues, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the University President, and Dr. Nofel Al-Irja, met with the staff of the Follow-up Department, considering them as the primary interface for university visitors. The continuation of the training courses (the fifth session) held by the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH)/ the Rehabilitation and Employment Division within the government “Riyada” initiative.
These courses aim to support student and graduate projects, with the participation of trainers Safaa Al-Silawi and Fatima Al-Kasid. These courses are two weeks in length and are held monthly.

In preparation for qualifying and training students and graduates of the Biomedical Engineering Department and appointing them to the Warith Derman Center for Prosthetic Limbs of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, the team of the Warith Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Development visited the Warith Derman Center for Prosthetic Limbs and met with the Center’s assistant director, Engineer Haider Al-Qurain.
The two parties discussed ways of cooperation in the field of developing, qualifying and employing students and graduates of the Biomedical Engineering Department through holding workshops and training courses, in addition to supporting and stimulating innovation in the field of manufacturing prosthetic limbs.
It is noteworthy that the team of the Warith Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Development continues to visit and conclude cooperation agreements with a number of institutions affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and private companies as part of its programme to qualify, train and employ university students.

The Continuous Education Center at the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa recently organized an enlightening workshop as part of its ongoing faculty development program. The workshop, titled "Enhancing Scientific Research Skills," spanned three intensive days and featured both theoretical and hands-on sessions. They further discussed international standards for journal classification. Participants had the opportunity to grasp essential knowledge about effective correspondence with journals. This included direct communication, responding to reviewer comments, and managing journal submissions. The workshop received rave reviews from the participants who praised the expertise of the speakers and the relevance of the information shared.
This workshop proved to be an exceptional opportunity for faculty members to stay updated on modern approaches to scientific research writing, publishing in prestigious journals, and indexing research in global repositories. It underscores the commitment of the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa to empower its faculty with the latest tools and techniques in the field of academic research.

The Presidency of the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) participated in the 6th International Conference on Engineering Sciences (ICES2022), represented by Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi.
The conference was hosted by the University of Karbala, College of Engineering, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Na'im Al-Abboudi, and under the presidency of the University of Karbala's President, Dr. Basim Al-Sa'idi.
During the conference's opening session, the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), Professor Dr. Waqad Al-Mousawi, delivered a scientific lecture titled "Climate Change and Water Scarcity in Iraq." The lecture addressed the climate conditions and highlighted recent studies in this field that underscore the significant impact on Iraq's water situation. It also outlined approaches and mechanisms for mitigating the effects of climate change.

Wraith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) invites esteemed researchers interested in human development to participate in the First National Conference under the theme "Advancement through Development and Growth." This conference is titled "The Impact of the Value System in Building and Enhancing Society" and is jointly organized by the Holy Hussein Shrine and Wraith Al-Anbiyaa University's College of Islamic Sciences and the Department of Human Resource Development.
Accepted research papers at the conference will be published in a dedicated book with an ISBN classification. Moreover, there are awards for outstanding research in accordance with the conference's topics.

The conference was organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Alawite Threshold in collaboration with the University of Kufa, involving the faculties of Management, Economics, and Arts. The conference focused on "Administrative Aspects and Principles of Righteous Governance in the Heritage of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him)."
Mr. Hussein Mohammed Ali, a lecturer at the Faculty of Management and Economics, Department of Business Administration at Wraith Al-Anbiyaa University, presented his research titled "The Philosophy of Administrative Insight in the Thought of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and its Role in Achieving Enlightened Leadership - A Content Analysis Study of the Sermons of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)."

Faculty members from the College of Management and Economics, Department of Business Administration, Mr. Hussein Mohammed Ali and Mr. Ali Aziz Al-Kalkawi, participated in the "International Conference on New Developments in Humanities," hosted by the University of Tehran with wide participation from various Arab and international countries.
Their participation involved presenting a collaborative research paper on new developments in the field of humanities.
