The Warith Elevate University pavilion continues to participate in presenting many scientific and academic events within the “Iraq Education Conference and Exhibition,” where the Warith Elevate team provided an explanation of the center’s services to the university’s graduates and students and how to contribute to their qualification and training to prepare them to engage in the labor market, and employ them within the institutions of the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine in addition to the university’s support for the “Reyada Government Initiative” by holding training courses at the university.
2023/09/19As part of the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance scientific collaboration with reputable universities worldwide, a delegation from the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), led by Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, participated in a meeting held at the University of Baghdad. The meeting brought together representatives from the universities of Baghdad, Al-Nahrain, Technology, and Wraith Al-Anbiyaa, along with a delegation from the University of Dundee in the United Kingdom, in the presence of the Iraqi Prime Minister's Advisor, Professor Dr. Hameed Khalaf Ahmed.
The meeting aimed to discuss the state of higher education and the ministry's efforts to bring about quantitative and qualitative changes in the scientific and cultural landscape in Iraq, as well as to foster connections with international universities.
During the meeting, discussions revolved around the shared collaboration strategy between the University of Dundee and Iraqi universities, as well as opportunities for engagement with British universities in general. These initiatives are expected to significantly contribute to the scientific progress within the country.
The University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa has completed the external audit procedures for obtaining international ISO certifications in the fields of Quality Management, Education, Environment, Energy, Health, and Occupational Safety.
Mr. Ali Abdul Zahra, the Head of the Quality Assurance Department, stated, "After a period of training that lasted for (6) months to prepare the university's units in the areas of Quality Management, Education, Environment, Energy, Health, and Occupational Safety, the University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) is nearing international accreditation in the mentioned ISO standards. We will work on completing the requirements and observations recommended by the external auditor, as advised by the specialized team in the coming days."
In support of the holy Al-Hussein shrine's efforts to improve the state of medical education in Iraq, a group of experts in medical teaching methods from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research met to discuss updates regarding the upcoming "Trainer Preparation Course."
The "President of the National Center for Medical Competency Assessment" has shown the center's readiness in terms of logistics, human resources, and advanced technologies, which will be used for the first time in Iraq for clinical training purposes.

A delegation from Sharif University of Technology in the Republic of Iran visited University of Wraith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon them) in preparation for the signing of a scientific agreement between the two universities in the fields of scientific research, the exchange of scientific visits, benefiting from scientific experiences to train students, and other scientific and academic areas.

Mr. Ali Abdul Zahra, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, said, 'Warith Elevate is among the first centers in Iraq that will work on empowering students and graduates professionally and entrepreneurially, in accordance with the job market's requirements, enhancing the growth of their projects, innovations, and employment opportunities in various sectors.'
He added, 'The center aims to enhance the university's social and academic reputation by supporting its graduates after graduation and ensuring they acquire the necessary skills to enter the job market.'
Abdul Zahra mentioned that the center's name was inspired by the Quranic verse: 'Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees.' (Quran, 58:11). This reflects our commitment to raising the knowledge and goodness of our graduates, as symbolized in the logo design, the shape of the degrees, and its colors. White symbolizes knowledge and the community, while yellow represents them.
In the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) concluded the second session within the Riyada Initiative launched by the Prime Minister.
The President of the University emphasized the university’s support for this initiative, and to support the trainees even after the end of the courses to qualify and employ students and graduates.
It is noteworthy that the training courses came with the participation of trainers Safaa Al-Silawi and Fatima Al-Kassid. These courses are two weeks in length and are held monthly.
Out of the eagerness of the presidency of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) to introduce the latest laboratory equipment to the laboratories of the university’s colleges and departments, the university has contracted with a number of reputable international companies for medical educational equipment.
The first batch of these devices arrived at the College of Medicine laboratories, which will contribute to developing the students’ skills and improving the practical skills required in the field of medicine. A timetable has been set for receiving the equipment before the start of the new academic year.
Within the campus of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) and with more than 1,000 participants registered in its database, the “Riyada” initiative has been launched. This initiative aims to support the projects of students and graduates and improve their standard of living by encouraging them to rely on themselves and establish small projects. The university has provided all its financial and human capabilities to support this important initiative, as the programem will continue for 5 days with the participation of trainers Safaa Al-Silawi and Fatima Al-Kasid. This course will be held monthly for two weeks a month.
The government actively supports this initiative and considers it an investment in human resources and community development. The university and the trainers look forward to receiving more creative and enthusiastic participants who seek to develop themselves and achieve excellence in the field of enterpnourship.
As part of the "Future Leaders: Building Effective Dialogue Skills" training program, initiated by the Continuing Education Center to equip our dear students with essential life skills, the workshop delivered by Trainer Wala Al-Mousawi covered crucial aspects of constructive dialogue to achieve mutual goals. The session explored various types of dialogue, emphasized the importance of generating ideas, active listening, and paying attention to body language, as it conveys indirect messages that significantly impact the dialogue's final outcome. The interactive training workshop also included practical exercises to apply different dialogue techniques and acquire constructive dialogue skills.
Under the patronage of Mr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the President of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, the Continuing Education Center, in collaboration with the College of Nursing and Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital, organized a training course for first-year students titled "Nursing Skills Course."
This course aimed to solidify and refine the fundamental and essential nursing skills for first-year students. Its purpose was to take advantage of the summer vacation period to strengthen and develop the students' skills.
It is worth mentioning that Warith Al-Anbiyaa University is committed to training its students from the very first stage, with the objective of graduating students who are proficient in their field of study.
The Department of Scientific Affairs at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University organized a scientific seminar on the ministry platform, "Nadwati," launched by the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The seminar aimed to enhance participants' knowledge about conferences, seminars, workshops, and discussion sessions. Its primary focus was to introduce the platform and provide guidelines on how to utilize it effectively to promote the university's activities.

Within the framework of a concerted effort by the Presidency of Warith Al-Anbiya University to support the transition to the digital environment, the Holy Shrine of Al-Hussainiya, within its cooperative program with Iraqi universities, organized a training course entitled "Using Content Management Systems". To facilitate the transition to the digital environment.
This course, presented by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Samad Al Farhad from the University of Basra, extended over a period of three days. Content management systems, defined as a set of procedures used to manage collaborative workflows, are explored. The lecturer presented the practical applications of this system within university libraries, highlighted its various uses and benefited from the experiences of Iraqi universities in implementing digital transformation programs.

The Continuing Education Center organized a training course for department heads, section managers, and administrative staff responsible for official tasks. The course, titled "Administrative Correspondence," was delivered by the international trainer, Dr. Ahmed Al-Jabasi.
The three-day course covered various types of administrative correspondence and the advantages of each type. It also addressed the proper methods of drafting, organizing, and formatting official documents in an administrative context.
At the end of the course, Dr. Abbas Al-Daami, Assistant to the University President for Academic Affairs, presented a certificate of appreciation to the trainer, acknowledging his dedicated efforts in conducting this training program.
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University organized a training course titled "CNC Machine Programming." The course was delivered by the department's head, Professor Dr. Hussein Salem Kaytan, and attended by several faculty members from the College of Engineering. The course took place in the sixth workshop building, which is part of the engineering labs.
2023/07/10The Continuing Education Center, in collaboration with the Electronic Computing Center, organized a training course titled "Installation and Programming of IP Camera Systems." The course was delivered by programmer Abbas Nouri Talib.
The purpose of this course was to enhance the participants' skills in the field of installing, programming, and maintaining IP camera systems. The course lasted for three consecutive days, and the final day included hands-on training for the participants.
The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department organized a training course titled "Performance Evaluation on the Electronic System" for heads of scientific departments and quality assurance staff. The course was delivered by Mr. Ali Mahdi Ali, responsible for electronic performance evaluation, and Ms. Ghofran Salahuddin Mahdi, responsible for international classifications.
Mr. Ali Mahdi Ali stated that the course covered the process of entering scientific activities' details into the performance evaluation form for faculty members for the academic year (2020-2021). The course also discussed the criteria for evaluation files, the Performance Evaluation File Guide, and reviewed the mechanisms for uploading scientific data for faculty members within the electronic performance evaluation system.
The Continuing Education Center, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, organized a training course titled "Laboratory Quality and Procedures." The course was conducted by Ms. Israa Habib, M.Sc.,
The course covered a general overview of quality and laboratory practices. It provided an explanation of all the topics and standards required in this field. On the final day of the course, a practical exercise was conducted, followed by a written examination for the participants.

The workshop discussed various international academic accreditations and the methods of achieving their requirements in light of the higher education experience in Iraq.

The workshop, led by Sabah Al-Hilali, a trainer from the Red Crescent Society, encompasses essential principles of the Red Crescent, working procedures, and providing initial assistance to the injured. The university and students have shown great enthusiasm and dedication towards volunteer work, offering their time and efforts. In the upcoming days, there will be intensive programs focusing on proper handling and administering correct first aid techniques to those in need."

This step aims to improve graduates' employment opportunities and qualify them with the required professional skills.
The head of the Quality Assurance Department, Dr. Ali Abdel Zahra, said: “The University’s efforts include developing curricula and implementing training programmes that enhance students’ practical skills and knowledge. This is achieved through joint cooperation with the private sector and providing training and practical application opportunities.
It is noteworthy that the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) seeks to build bridges of cooperation with the private sector by organizing regular employment events and real employment opportunities for graduates. These efforts aim to enhance the university’s role in qualifying young staffs and providing excellent training and employment opportunities for its graduates in the job market.
